GLR State Days for 2012

Michigan State Day

The Marshall Chapter hosted Michigan State Day on July 28, 2012 at the renowned Cornwell's Turkeyville U.S.A.

Toni McKelley designed an exclusive "reproduction" of the Brooks Memorial Fountain for this event.

Indiana State Day

The Fort Wayne Area Chapter celebrated Apple Fest for Indiana State Day on October 6, 2012 at the Don Halls Guesthouse and Convention Center.

Local notable "Johnny Appleseed" shared the history and richness of American life in his time. Chapter President Judy Gary designed the project, a sweet Blackwork Apple Needlebook. Stitched in black on 18 count aida, the design incorporates a number of blackwork motifs and is finished with an edging of Palestrina knots.
