Wisconsin State Day

The Fox Valley Chapter hosted the 2016 Wisconsin State Day on August 19-20, 2016. Toni Gerdes taught Autumn 3-Ways, an Intermediate Needlepoint project.

Maple leaves are stitched three different ways in this new design, including padded applique, laid filling patterns, and needle felting. A five band stitched border frames the 10" x 10" design.

The event was held at the Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel and Conference Center in Neenah, WI.

Illinois State Day

Waterfall Glen Chapter hosted the Illinois State Day on September 9, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Frankfort, IL. Kay Stanis taught the project "Elegant Egg".
