GLR State Days for 2016

Wisconsin State Day

The Fox Valley Chapter hosted the 2016 Wisconsin State Day on August 19-20, 2016. Toni Gerdes taught Autumn 3-Ways, an Intermediate Needlepoint project.

Maple leaves are stitched three different ways in this new design, including padded applique, laid filling patterns, and needle felting. A five band stitched border frames the 10" x 10" design.

The event was held at the Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel and Conference Center in Neenah, WI.

Indiana State Day

Pat Mazu taught "Diamonds in the Sky - Two Ornaments" on October 8, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Richmond, Indiana. Hosted by Richmond's Own Society of Embroiderers (R.O.S.E.)
