Information:
Our chapter was formed in 1981 and we currently
have 25 members. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2011!
Meeting Times
and Locations: 
Second Saturday
of each month at the
Logan Square Library,
3030 W. Fullerton Ave., Chicago IL Meetings are from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. December is our holiday pot
luck brunch. March is our get-away stitching retreat. We usually take an
educational or shopping field trip (for needlework supplies or classes, of
course) in summer.

30th Anniversary Exhibit April
15th – July 1, 2011
Our chapter is exhibiting a collection of needlework as part of the 30th
Anniversary celebration of our chapter at the Chicago Public Library – Logan
Square Branch. Multiple needlework techniques including counted thread, canvas
work, goldwork, stumpwork, pulled thread, hardanger, and beadwork are on
display.

Outreach Projects:
Our chapter recently made
Christmas ornaments for a local
family who lost their house in a gas explosion. We made 24 hand stitched
ornaments for the family.
Previous outreach projects include kissing pillows for the
troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and small house pictures for the people who lost
their homes in Hurricane Katrina.
